         An exciting workshop for robotic enthusiasts  Mobile phones have never been more popular and powerful smart phones are now a popular choice of consumers. And these smart phones can be used for controlling robots.
         Built on an open source system and featuring powerful SDK libararies and IDE, Android and AVR have opened up a field for interfacing mobile with a robot.
         This workshop is for anyone interested in creating applications for the Android Mobile phone platform using the SDK for controlling your robots.

  • Certification by "MSRDS" (Microsoft Robotics Development Studio) and "AIESEC IIT-Delhi".
  • Also, International Certification by "Science Park Korea".


Entry Fee:- Rs. 4700/- (Four Thousand Seven Hundred Only) per head.

Requirement:-
  • Max. of 5 members in Per Team.
  • Bringing One Laptop and One Android Cellphone (preferably touch) per team is compulsory
  • Entry Fee includes Accommodation & Food of External Participants.

Duration:
                  The workshop will be conducted for two days.

Syllabus:

v Introduction

Ø Installing and understanding WINavr IDE.
Ø Connecting ATmega8 development board to your computer.
Ø Programming your robot using embedded C.
Ø Installing Bluetooth APP on your android phone.

v Bluetooth Protocol

Ø AT commands.
Ø Bluetooth pairing rules.
Ø Interfacing HC-05 with Atmega8.
Ø Master and Slave operation.
Ø Serial communication with HC-05 using Laptop.

v Hardware

Ø Assembling the robot system.
Ø Actuator Test.

v Programming

Ø Using Bluetooth header files.
Ø Coding for Bluetooth communication.
Ø Controlling your robot using Bluetooth.
Ø Reading the sensor data on your phone.
